Calibrating to 0 or 'zeroing' is common practice among all grinders after replacing or servicing burr sets. Since the Mahlkonig E80W does not utilize a physical adjustment collar to adjust the burr (disk distance). Several programing steps are required to calibrate 0.

Calibrate 0:

1. Log in as Owner:
   
1. Menu - User Management - Log In - Password: 1924
   
2. Hit Return.
   
3. Navigate to Service:
   
1. Disc Distance - Calibrate
   
4. Close the hopper gate.
   
5. Grind remaining coffee through burr chamber.
   
6. Run grinder and turn dial clockwise until burrs lightly chirp
   
1. Listen for chirp audio in demonstration video above!
   
7. Stop grinding and hit Back button.
   
8. Select Yes to store new settings.
   
9. Calibration zero is now set!
